About the Workshops

JILL’S WORKSHOPS

Jill’s workshops offer women a secure space to explore their inner world, as well as structures and tools to continue the work of integrating newly discovered potential into their daily lives. Women come together in a circle of connection in which they can tell their stories, share experiences and wisdom and give each other support and inspiration. The workshops also provide time for reflection and being, an opportunity for women to step back from everyday demands and pressures in order to review their current position and possible future direction.

Workshop – The Wise Woman Within

This workshop provides a map to help you move towards wholeness by reconnecting with essentially feminine sources of wisdom and putting more meaning into life. You will have the opportunity to access the qualities of your wise woman and give her a voice, to tune in to the natural world, to listen to your body’s wisdom and to learn about ‘emotional housekeeping’.

Workshop – Exploring the Influence of the Ancestors

By ancestors I mean at least our grandparents or great grandparents – probably the generation before the one you knew well.

In this workshop we will use a variety of tools and methods – objects, photographs, drawing, guided journeying, body knowing – to make a connection with our ancestors and to explore some of the following questions:

How relevant are the ancestors to me?

By understanding them will I understand more about myself?

Do their voices speak through me?

What are they trying to say?

What do I owe them?

How do I honour them?

Seminar – The Wise Woman at Work

The planet as a whole and today’s business world in particular needs to capitalize on a number of qualities traditionally characterised as feminine.  These include:

  • Creative imagination
  • Lateral thinking
  • Multi-tasking
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Attention to people issues
  • Facilitative leadership

Research shows that people possessing these qualities are the most effective managers and leaders.

Women need to value these feminine attributes, develop their potential, and apply them at work. This is not a question of replacing the traditional masculine style of leadership, but of extending and enhancing the repertoire of available skills. Both approaches have their place and successful leaders need the resources to adapt their style of management to suit individual situations.

We all know that women can and do succeed and survive in a man’s world, but now it is important to focus on what it means to be women in order not only to survive, but to thrive at all levels.  Then their teams will thrive too, with less stress and more success.

This seminar explores these feminine qualities, and how to make the most of them in your role as a woman at work. You will learn how to make an ally of the wise woman within, to harness the energies of natural cycles and to manage the emotional agendas arising at work. Time for reflection gives an opportunity to review current positions and future directions.
